- National Geographic's JASON Project: Coordinated JASON's Field Trainer Network supporting dozens of trainers all over the US and internationally by developing outreach resources, evaluating training results and working with trainers. Also, provided professional development services as a member of JASON's Lead Trainer Network, training more than 200 science teachers all over the country. Developed and coordinated an innovative Careers in Science summertime science program for high school students in Georgetown, SC.
- MCI-MarcoPolo Program: Coordinated outreach and training activities impacting dozens of under-served middle schools in Los Angeles County and the Central Valley of California. Resulted in expanded classroom integration of Web-based learning resources.
- Verizon Foundation Thinkfinity Program: Conducted over 160 training sessions, reaching more than 2,000 K-12 educators, as a member of Thinkfinity's exclusive national training cadre which provides educational technology integration training to schools and districts all over the country.
- FuturekIds Inc.: Designed training curriculum and provided training to more than 400 educators as part of Pennsylvania's Classrooms for the Future initiative.
- Colorado Online Learning: Coordinated grant processes to secure $750,000 in funding to support the development and delivery of online high school courses. Hired, trained and evaluated online instructors. Developed and facilitated online courses for high school students.
- Colorado Teaching, Learning and Technology: Provided training in support of state-wide CTLT professional development initiatives.
- West End Public Schools: Developed and coordinated a variety of technology-based professional development activities for three schools.
- Osceola High School: Provided educational technology training designed to build teacher confidence and ability in accessing and using Web-based classroom resources.
PROJECTS
- West End Stategic Training Network (WESTnet): Wrote a $143,000 grant and developed and coordinated a wide-ranging online educational technology teacher training program for 5 school districts. This was one of the first online PD programs in Colorado.
- Rio Grande Learning Network: Wrote a $127,000 grant and designed a hybrid professional development model for two middle schools in southern Colorado. Through the program teacher completed a combination of face to face training and online coursework. This resulted in extensive teacher growth in knowledge and integration of ETIL activities and resources.
