FEE SCHEDULE
ONSITE TRAINING: As onsite trainers we deliver exactly what your school/district wants in a way that meets the needs of all teachers because we work with you during the planning process. While we understand that 1/2 day sessions may best fit your school, we do not have a standard price for 1/2 day sessions but we can make accommodations. Additionally, the schedule below is very flexible depending on the scope of a project and project components. Expenses include mileage, lodging, meals, etc... One model we have found very budget friendly is to partner with a nearby school or district to split the travel expenses and to take advantage of our multiple day discounts (see below).
Our standard rates:
- 1-Day Session: $500 plus expenses
- 2-Day Session: $900 plus expenses (consecutive days)
- 3-Day Session: $1300 plus expenses (consecutive days)
Onsite Scenarios: We want to meet your needs so our flexible training can include many possibilities for your staff, including:
- 1-Day: One group of teachers for 3.5 hours and another group for 3.5 hours, same day
- 1-Day: One set of teachers for 6-8 hours
- 2-Day: One set of teachers on Day 1 and another set on Day 2
- 2-Day: Teacher training on Day 1 and in-class mentoring on Day 2
- 2-Day: Teacher training on Day 1 and in-class best practices demonstration on Day 2
- 2-Day: Elementary teachers on Day 1 and Secondary teachers on Day 2
ONSITE CONSULTATION: Our consultation services cover a variety of activities such as technology planning, grant writing, curriculum development, etc... Our fees are $50/hour plus expenses, minimum 5 hours.
ONLINE COURSES: Online courses can be self-hosted with us providing the instruction or we can host the courses. For self-hosted courses we charge a fee based on the number of participants. For courses we design, host and facilitate, we charge a course design fee (if it is a new course) in addition to a hosting fee and a fee based on the number of participants. Fees are also based on the length of the course. Please contact us for more information on this opportunity.
HYBRID TRAINING: A very effective and engaging training model is a combination of onsite and online training. In this model we'd provide onsite introductory training then extended activities would be done online. This allows teachers to work at their own pace, explore content more deeply and is more cost-effective for the school/district. Additionally, it gives teachers experience with online learning.
REMOTE ACTIVITIES: Our standard fees for working from our office is $40/hour. This includes needs assessments (unless a part of a training contract), research, reporting, data evaluation, project development, conference calls, etc...
FLAT RATE CONTRACTS: We encourage flat rate contracts which are more feasible for extended service projects. An example might be grant writing. A flat rate would cover all the work involved in research, writing, etc.... This is also a great solution for a long-term professional development project. As an example, a year-long professional development project could involve 8-10 days on-site in addition to online/virtual activities and could be less expensive than our regular rates..
PARENT SESSIONS: We realize that many parents want to understand what is going on in their child's school regarding the use of educational technology and many schools are looking at ways to "extend" the school day. Given this, we offer evening training/informational sessions for parents. The sessions are aligned with what we are doing for the school. These sessions would generally be about 2 hours and provide hands-on activities for parents that they can then take home to help their kids. Our rate is $100 for a 2-3 hour session and includes printed materials. NOTE: These session are only offered in conjunction with a school's training session.
