21st Century Technology for Teachers and Students

INFORMATION LITERACY

Information Literacy-The ability to evaluate information across a range of media; recognize when information is needed; locate, synthesize, and use information effectively; and accomplish these functions using technology, communication networks, and electronic resources. (enGauge)

In classrooms, information literacy helps students build skills that will help them not only in school but after they complete their formal education and compete in a global workplace.

Our educational technology training, resources and materails focus on students developing information literacy skills through technology-infused classroom activities.  It is our firm beleief that, in general, technology can engage kids in the learning process.  We then make the logical assumption that an engaged student will be more successful in the classroom.

We can work with you to develop customized training ranging from a 1/2 day introductory session to a longer-term professional development project.
